ATL to Madison GA: Getting Here

I suppose being out-of-the-way is part of the point. The Firefly is not a complicated place to get to. It only requires a little know-how.

The Firefly

Driving from ATL to Madison GA

From Atlanta: Take I-20 east. Take Exit 113.

Atlanta is one of those places that if you are not from there, you can’t see how anybody can live there. Atlanta is at the intersection of three interstate highways, 85, 75 and 20. Madison is just off I-20 about 50 miles to the east.

If you are driving through Atlanta to get to the Firefly, you have two choices regarding Atlanta: go around it, or go through it.

There is a certain kind of person that will go through the tall buildings just because they can. This is especially impressive at night.

Atlanta Rush Hour

Try to avoid. Like all poorly planned, fast growing places, it’s a mess. Call for advice.

The Atlanta Airport

We believe that most people have had the unfortunate experience of being in the “World’s Largest Airport.” If you’re there, and lost, airport employees are helpful. Give us a call if you need more advice.

Uber and Lyft from Atlanta

There is a curbside pickup at the international terminal. At the domestic terminal you have to go to the North parking garage, where there is a “ride share” area. The big friendly sign for this is not especially helpful.

The Uber and Lyft fee is about $75 one-way if you choose this option, and they will drop you at the front door.
